Virginia Dare is respectful of the social and natural environment in which we operate.
The Company is enrolled with SEDEX (The Supplier Ethical Data Exchange,) a program connecting consumer product companies and their global suppliers to share ethical data, TransFair USA (Fair Trade,) the Organic Trade Association, and FEMA’s (The Flavor and Extract Manufacturers’ Association) Organic Committee.
Virginia Dare is supporting research at the New York Institute of Technology on recycling of feedstock by-products, and works within the community with local sustainable energy source development.
Virginia Dare conducts consumer research and tracks the importance of green and sustainable factors in consumer product acceptance and purchase intent.
Virginia Dare has supported the National Arbor Day Foundation’s reforestation program at Plumas National Forest in California, and the HikeKaTreeNa Organization’s tree replanting project in post-Katrina New Orleans.
