The Receptionist and Administrative Offices are located on the Seventh Floor at 882 Third Avenue, Brooklyn. (Our offices are located in a twelve story green office building adjacent to the Gowanus Expressway in Sunset Park.) Regular office hours are 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., EST, Monday to Friday, except holidays. The Shipping and Receiving Dock is located on the south side of 32nd Street between Third and Second Avenues. The Shipping and Receiving Dock hours are 8:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. and 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M., EST, Monday to Friday, except holidays. On street parking can be found on Third Avenue and along the adjacent side streets.
Subway Directions from Manhattan From Midtown Manhattan (42nd Street – Bryant Park subway station) take the D Train (or alternatively N or R trains) heading Downtown / direction Coney Island. After passing through the Manhattan stops (34th Street – Herald Square, Washington Square, etc.) get off at 36th Street in Brooklyn. (Estimated travel time 41 minutes.) Exit to the street at 36th Street and 4th Avenue. Walk east on 4th Avenue towards 35th Street. Turn left on 35th Street, turn right on Third Avenue until you come to Virginia Dare at 882 Third Avenue. For New York City Subway and bus directions from other locations consult www.hopstop.com. Via Taxicab Taxicabs can provide transportation from any point in New York City and from LaGuardia, Newark Liberty and Kennedy International Airports to Virginia Dare. Travel time would vary depending on starting locations and traffic conditions. Typical taxicab travel times from Manhattan to Virginia Dare would be 30 – 60 minutes, and from the airports 60 – 90 minutes. Driving from Manhattan (New York City) Starting from either the West Side Highway or the FDR Drive (East Side) proceed south to the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel. Take the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to Brooklyn. After exiting the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel, take the first right hand exit, Exit 26, after the toll booth. This is Hamilton Avenue. Continue on Hamilton Avenue south. Hamilton Avenue becomes Third Avenue. Proceed south on Third Avenue until 32nd Street. Virginia Dare is at 882 Third Avenue between 32nd and 33rd Streets. Driving from New Jersey, Points West and South, and Newark Liberty International Airport Follow signs to the New Jersey Turnpike (I-95). Take the New Jersey Turnpike south to Exit 13 – Goethals Bridge (to Staten Island) and follow signs for I-278 east. Continue on I-278 east, cross over the Goethals Bridge staying on I-278 (about 10 miles) to the Verrazano Bridge. Go over the Verrazano Bridge (remain in center lane coming off Bridge). Stay on I-278 and follow signs onto the Brooklyn Queens Expressway north towards Manhattan. Exit the Brooklyn Queens Expressway at Exit 21 - Third Avenue (at 60th Street). Proceed on Third Avenue until 32nd Street. Make a left turn on 32nd Street and cross under the highway. Virginia Dare is located at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street. Driving from the North (Queens, Bronx, Westchester, Connecticut, New England, Upstate New York) Whitestone Bridge: Southbound onto the Whitestone Expressway / Van Wyck Expressway to the Long Island Expressway ( 495) west, to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) west, exit at 39th Street in Brooklyn. At the end of the ramp, make a right at the light onto Second Avenue. Go 7 blocks to 32nd Street. Make a right turn. Virginia Dare is at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street. Throgs Neck Bridge: Southbound onto the Clearview Expressway (295) to the Long Island Expressway (495) west to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) west. Continue for approximately 8 miles and exit at 39th Street in Brooklyn. At the end of the ramp make a right turn at the traffic light onto Second Avenue. Go 7 blocks to 32nd Street. Make a right turn. Virginia Dare is located at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street. George Washington Bridge/Cross Bronx Expressway: Eastbound from the George Washington Bridge onto the Cross Bronx Expressway (I-95). Exit onto the Major Deegan Expressway southbound (Direction Queens) to the RFK-Triboro Bridge. Follow directions for RFK-Triboro Bridge. RFK -Triboro Bridge: Take Grand Central Parkway (278) to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) west. Continue for approximately 8 miles and exit at 39th Street in Brooklyn. At the end of the ramp make a right turn at the traffic light onto Second Avenue. Go 7 blocks to 32nd Street. Make a right turn. Virginia Dare is located at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street. Driving from LaGuardia Airport Exit the airport and head westbound (direction Manhattan) on Grand Central Parkway. Exit Grand Central Parkway onto the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) west (direction Brooklyn/Verrazano Bridge). Continue for approximately 8 miles and exit at the 39th Street Exit. At the end of the ramp make a right turn at the traffic light onto Second Avenue. Go 7 blocks to 32nd Street. Make a right turn. Virginia Dare is located at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street. Driving from Kennedy International Airport Exit the airport and head westbound (direction Manhattan) on the Southern/Shore BELT Parkway. The Belt Parkway becomes the Brooklyn Queens Expressway/Gowanus Expressway (278) heading north and eastbound towards Manhattan. Exit the Brooklyn Queens Expressway/Gowanus Expressway at Exit 21 – Third Avenue (at 60th Street). Proceed on Third Avenue until 32nd Street. Make a left turn on 32nd Street and cross under the highway. Virginia Dare is located at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street. Driving from Eastern Long Island Take the Long Island Expressway (495) westbound until the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) Exit 17W. Take the Brooklyn Queens Expressway (278) west (direction Verrazano Bridge) for approximately 8 miles and exit at the 39th Street Exit. At the end of the ramp make a right turn at the traffic light onto Second Avenue. Go 7 blocks to 32nd Street. Make a right turn. Virginia Dare is located at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street. Driving from the New York Marriott Hotel at the Brooklyn Bridge (333 Adams Street, Brooklyn, NY 11201 Telephone: (718) 222-4150) Exit the hotel and go 2 blocks on Adams Street to Tillary Street, make a right turn. Continue 2 more blocks to Flatbush Avenue, turn right again onto Fourth Avenue. Continue on Fourth Avenue until 32nd Street. At 32nd Street turn right. Virginia Dare is located at the corner of Third Avenue and 32nd Street.
